Seventy-seven deaths from fireworks, drownings and other accidents were recorded in the United States during the July 4th. holiday. FURTHER. CASUALTIES. CHICAGO, July 5. , Two hundred and five lives were sacrificed in 4th.' July celebrations in tlie United States, including one hundred and six drownings, fifty-four as the result of automobile accidents, twelve from beat and eleven from fireworks.
