(Australian Press Association.) MELBOURNE HANDI CAP. NEAY ZEALANDERS’ SUCCESS. MELBOURNE, July 4. 'flic shooting for the Melbourne £SOOO Handicap concluded to-day. Tlie New Zealanders, Dobson and Taylor, were in the filial eleven, who received £273 each. The first division of tlie prize money was £73 each, at the end of the eighth round, when the New Zealander TrUseott was also amongst the recipients. Other divisions were: Hundred each at the end of the thirteenth and fourteenth rounds, the latter being the final division. The world’s pigeon shooting championship commenced this- afternoon with eiglity-three entres. Dobson, Truseott and Taylor missed the first birds.
NEW ZEALANDERS WIN AT BISLEY. LONDON, July 4. Thing Officer Wallingford, son of the celebrated rifle shot of New Zealand, won Queen Mary’s prize at Bislcy, with a score, of 174, fired under battle conditions.
