SIMON THE JESTER”—TO-NIGHT

One of tlie most unique situations in modern photoplay presentation is brought to light in ‘‘Simon the Jester,” Era wees Marion’s current production, which will he shown at the Princess Theatre to-night. It may be termed a ” four-cornered triangle.” Three men love the same woman, a circus rider. One, an indfferent wooer, another her husband from whom she is separated, and third a mutual friend who attempts to break up the new romance but himself falls for her beauty. One of the most unusual situations in ‘kSimon the Jester,” is found in the long voyage made by Eugene O’lirien, who enacts the title role in the production, to locate the husband of the woman ho loves—and whom he finds conducting a gambling den in Algiers. A most unusual situation arises when O’Brien finds his man and makes his mission known. The husband, who is separated from his wife, misinterprets O’Brien’s mission and they engage in a fight which brings about a condition which permits O’Brien to marry the lady in question. Lillian Jlieli enacts the role of the heroine and Edmund Burns, Henry B. Walthall and William Hiatt and excellent support. George •Medford directed the production for .Metropolitan Pictures. It is flavoured with romance, sentiment, thrills and humour.

A good supporting programme wil also he shown.
