The Sub-Union met at 8 p.m. Pre-sent—-Messrs IT. M. Coulson (Chairman), Williams, Stafford, J. Coulson, Breeze, Dowel j., McGregor, |McMannaway and lleenan. Apologies ior absence were received from Messrs Cutbusb and Moore.
The minutes were confirmed and outward correspondence approved. INWARD CORRESPONDENCE.
From Referees reports on various matches—including notification that a player was ordered off for bitting an opponent.—Received. The pi aver affected to be notified to attend next .Monday’s meeting.
From West Coast Rugby Union advising B Unions match North v. South Islands at Palmerston North on July 18th. Players selected will have to leave after Seddon Shield match at Nelson.—Received and players already notified. MATCHES FOR SATURDAY. It was resolved owing to _the match Roller v. West Const at -Greymouth that all junior matches be postponed. THIRD GRADE- - School v. Arnhurn, at Araluira, at 2.30 p.m. (Mr .1. Conning). SATURDAY. JULY 7th.. Araluira v_ Ross, at Arahura. Kiwis v. Kokntahi, at Kokatnlii. Excelsiors v. Rimu, at Hokitika. It was resolved to send a letter of appreciation to Dr Buchanan for his kind attention to injured players on Saturday last. It was resolved to ask selected representative players to hand .in full particulars of names, height, weight and ago before Wednesday evening.
