AMUNDSEN’S MISFORTUNE. Australian Press Assn.—United Service LONDON, June 21. Advices from King’s Bay state that the Relief Headquarters are now convinced that Amundsen has met with a misfortune. A relief expedition is starting for North East Land under Captain Maddalcna, the Italian airman. N.Z. FLIGHT. AUCKLAND, June 21. The Auckland Aero Club decided to-night to request the Mayor to cable to Squadron-Leader Kingsford Smith, inviting him to fly to Auckland after ills arrival in New Zealand from Australia.
