GRAND DOUBLE STAB TO-NTCHT

Two big comedies will bo presented :it the Princess Theatre to-night headed by ITarold Lloyd in “For Heaven’s Sake.” Harold Lloyd is surrounded with a supporting cast, notable for the quality and.exccllence of its personnel in his second Paramount release, “ For Heaven’s Sake!” which comes to the Princess Theatre to-night. Paul Wiegel, veteran character actor, handles the role of the missionary whose efforts to reform the rough element in the slums are fruitless, till the bespectacled comedian lends him a helping hand. Noah Young, one of the best known “heavies” on the screen, returns to the Lloyd fold as the leader of the underworld gang. James Mason is happily east in a villainous role, the type of charcterization in which he has achieved a well-deserved success. Jack Garvin, Australian actor, was prominently cast in an important sequence as a policeman. The second big feature to-night is n rip-roaring farce-comedv! A laugh in every foot of celluloid. That is an apt description of “ Hookies,” Mctro-Goldwyn-Mnyer’s new farce-comedy which is to be shown to-night at the Princess Theatre. Karl Dane and George K. Arthur, two inimitable comedians, are introduced as a comedy costarring team in the new picture, and between them they provide a wealth of humorous episodes. The story has a background, the citizens’ military training camp, with Dane in the role of a tough sergeant and Arthur portraying the part of a very raw trainee. gam Wood directed “ Rookies,” which has an exceptionally well-cliosen cast, including Marcelino Day, Louise Lorraine, Frank Currier. F-. H. Calvert. Tom O’Brien, Charles Sullivan, Lincoln Steadman and many others.

Special prices to-night are : Circle 2s stalls Is 6d, children as usual.
