LABOUR LEADER.
NELSON, June 16.
Air Holland (Leader of the Labour Party) addressed a large meeting o farmers at Tnpawera (Motuekn electorate) last evening. He dealt principally with the outlook for primary producers, stating tlie Labour objective would lie to promote closer settlemen • and at the same time ensuring to the producer a fair value for commodities. He attacked the United Party, stating it would not lie a factor in the coming election and those wanting to get the Reform Government out would need to vote for Labour. Mr Holland also dealt at length with state and agricultural banks. At tlie conclusion of his address lie was warmly applauded and a vote of thanks was heartily carried.
