A Fairhavon message* says: Toni Heeney lias commenced active training. He weighed 206 pounds.

After; three and a half miles of road work, Heeney boxed eight rounds, but the New Zealander looked slow and heavy, his sparring partners hitting him at will.

Heeney complained that the canvas impeded his speed in moving about. Gene Tunney did eight miles of road Work and then he put on the gloves for the first time since his last bout with Jack Dempsey.

Tunney held an unwitnessed workout, after which a cut over his left eye was evident.
