LATE LOCALS.

Turner’s, fruiterers, direct attention to their reduced price list appearing in this issue. Tlie funeral of the late Mrs W. Barrowinan took place this afternoon and was attended by a large number of friends. The Rev. J. W. Hayward conducted the services at the residence and graveside. A large number of floral tributes were received.

Tlie juvenile ball in connection with the Swimming Club which took place in the Soldiers’ Hall on Thursday evening attracted a large crowd of juveniles and adults who had an enjoyable time. Music was supplied by Mr A. H. Lawn and others, and the ladies’ committee provided a plentiful supper.
