Australian Press Assn.—United Service SCOTTISH RUGBY UNION. (Heceived this day at 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, June 12. Scottish Rugby Union has circularised its clubs concerning their attitude towards the Dominions football. It states the committee disapproves of the financial arrangements between the New South Wales fifteen and France and also considers the terms of the New Zealanders’ visit in 1524 contrary to previous agreements. The committee views favourably the organisation of Rugby in the Dominions, but cannot be a party to any agreement whereby any Dominion has anything to say about organisation of the game in the Mother Country. The principal desire of the Dominions’ representatives was to render the game faster in order to secure increased receipts. The Committee considered the game fast enough ancl interesting enough. It should not be forgotten that Rugby originated from the .schools. The ComMuittee would never permit it to become so tiring that schoolboys could not play it without undue fatigue.
