Australian Press Assn.—United Service GOOD WISHES TO HEENEY.; WELLINGTON, June 12. The R.S.A. at its annual meeting decided to send a letter to Tom Heeney expressing the hope that lie will meet with success in the fight with Gene Tunney.. In proposing the motion, Mr Lendley said that “Tom Heeney was a New Zealand ‘ Digger,’ and such a letter might give him that extra punch that would enable him to climb to the top of the tree.
