A final reminder is given of the Swimming Club’s Ball in the Soldiers’ Hall this (Wednesday) night. Capital arnngements .have been made for tho enjoyment of patrons. Airs Leo, of Roinilly St. AVestport, received advice on Tuesday, by cable from Sydney of the death of her second daughter, Emily, from pneumonia. Deceased was a sister of Airs R. Powley and Airs T. La wry; Deceased was a native of Kumara and was reported to be in good health a fortnight ago.
