He partly agrees with the Archbishop of Canterbury’s plea, but though moved by the pathos of its words, he declares younger men must face the realities, especially be r cause the Church’s present plight is due to the failure of the lenders in the immediate, past to do so. He says the church will steadily lose its evangelical, liberal elements and the possible ending is church disendowment.
