HINDU MOB ATTACKS. BOMBAY, April 12. A series of assaults by infuriated Hindu mobs lias been made on Mahommedans, and particularly Patlians, in Ahmedabad as the result of a kidnapping scare. It appears that several recent cases of attempted kidnapping of Hindu boys by Moslems have given rise to the wildest rumours, including a story that 100 Hindu boys were required by Moslems for sacrificial purposes. It is now unsafe for Patlians in many cases to walk through the streets. In addition to a Mohemmedan who was beaten to death on Friday, many other cases of assault have been reported. Two Fakirs were . mauled in different parts of the town, and on Sunday two Patlians who passed near a Hindu bojV playground were attacked by a mob 1,000 strong and belaboured so mercilessly that they had to be removed to hospital, where they are in a precarious condition. 7.-

Numerous cases occurred of crowds marching innocent persons to the police' offices and the whole town is ablaze with communai'-fiaeling. To-day a. man who, it is believed, was mistaken for a Pathan or fakir, was beaten to death in the mill area.

Sufferers from bronchitis or asthma will fret speedy relief by taking “ Nazol ” on lump sugar, or inhaling. Penetrating and soothing. Is 6d buys 60 doses.—Advt,
