ROSS NEWS.

(From Our Own Correspondent). As anticipated the Fancy Dress Ball held by the Ladies Hockey Club which took jilace last evening proved a pronounced success. The gathering was a large one and included quite a number of fancy costumes. The' hall was artistically decorated with coloured streamers and evergreens and reflected every credit on the decorating committee. Delightful music was supplied by Miss Evans’ Orchestra, consisting of Miss B. Evans (piano), Air F. Houlahan (violin), Air P. ATcNabb (cornet/, while ALr Shannon had charge of the side effects. Shortly after midnight supper was served after which dancing continued till a late hour. Air R. Richards made an efficient AI.C.
