MOTOR COYS’ COMBINE. NEW'YORK, May 20,
The third largest Automobile Company in North America has just been formed. It is the fusion of the Dodge and the Chrysler Motor Companies. The Chrysler Coy has absorbed the Dodge stock of the value of 113 millions dollars, which is thirty-three millions less than the Dillon Read Company paid Dodge for the stock three years ago.
GERMAN AIRAVOMAN. NEAT' YORK, May 29.
Then Rasche. the German aviatrix, has announced that she-will make a non-stop flight from New York to Berlin in a Bellanca single-motored monoplane. She will be accompanied by a navigator and a co-pilot and will be starting shortly after Janie 10. This flight has been financed by a group of New York business men, who contributed fifty thousand dollars.
THE NAVAL QUESTION. WASHINGTON, May 30
Mr AVilbur (Naval Secretary) has assumed a hopeful outlook for the Naval Bill. To-day he said that the deferring of the naval construction measure until Congress re-oonvenes in December was “entirely owing to the Parliament situation, which bad developed at the close of the session.”
