SEVEN-ASIDE BY-LAWS.
The following is a list of by-laws relating to Rugby seven-aside tourna-
ments: — 1— That the competition shall bo open to all affiliated clubs, each of whom may nominate any number oi teams, consisting of .seven players, who are bonn-lide- members of the Club nominating them. 2 Nomination teas to be fixed by the Committee. 3 The whole of the net proceeds to go to the Union. .|—The competition shall be subject to the following rules: (a) The order of play in each round to be decided by lot; all fixes to bo drawn in tbc first round, and all losing teams to drop out of campetition at once. (b) Games shall be played in two spells of seven minutes each, and one minute interval. (c) A time will be fixed for each game to begin at. any team taring t,,, take the field when called on to do so shall forfeit tile match and take no further part in the tournament. (ili Each team before engaging in its first match must hand to the referee or any other official appointed a list of its players; failure- to comply with this rule will entail a forfeit. (e) No player shall, under any consideration play for more than one team.
(f) In the event of scores being even at the end of the second spell the game must Ik> continued in equal spells till one team scores, or a force down. If kicked over dead ball line by attacking side, to be brought into play again, except in case of final a score only to count.
(g) An interval of at least ten minutes to lie provided between semi-final and final.
