EVERYBODYS PICTURES.

“BEHIND THE FRONT.” TO-NIGHT. if advices from Paramount arc true, Wallace Beery and Raymond Hatton, two of the featured players in “Behind the Front’:’ have come down in the world. It seems that years and years ago the two played in Keystone comedies (do you remember those days?), and were often the recipients of custard pies. Of course, a good coined inn always aimed for the face, and to the poor chap who was at the receiving end usually had a terrible time. Now—things have changed. In “Behind the Front” this great comedy character team are .seen to advantage, as a- pair of simple, soldiers in France. And by asking the man who’s been there, it’s easily found out that uie roads in that bright land arc composed of by one material—.mud ! So now, instead of being recipients of custard pies, otir two heroes arc floundering around in mud. And, by the way, if you’re looking for tbe laugh of your life, don’t miss “Behind the Front.” It- has more genuine comedy situations than anything that has come from the studios this year. It was directed for Paramount by Edwanl Sutherland arid will be at the Princess Theatre to-night. Alary Brian is the third member of the trio of featured players. The usual supports will also be shown including a Topical, Scenic and a. good Comedy. Coming Wednesday:—“The Lady of the Harem.” Friday—“ The Honor ■System” starring Alii ton Sills.
