on late rates. Half-bred lambs sold to 32s Bd. long wool led to 3Ss Id, inferior £1 to 22s 9d, wether lambs 19s 7d to 23s 3d. The adult sheep were mostly wethers. There was a fair demand throughout. Four, six and eight-t-ootli wethers sold at 295" and 32s scl, twotooth to 275, ewes of uneven wool 25s Id to 33s 9d.

Pigs—The fats were a large entry, both in pork and bacon. Prices were easier. Choppers fetched £2 to £O. light pork 27s to 32s medium 33s to 39s heavy 42s to 50s. The average price was G 1 d per lb. Light baconers '■old at £2 15s to £3, medium £3 to £3 10s, heavy £3 15s to £5 2s 6(1. The average price was 6d per lb. Of store pigs there was a small yarding. Prices were on a par with the late rates.
