This does not affect ITcndren’s appointment as coach in Australia or any appointment Hearne may take up in the winter.
WICKET-KEEPER. LONDON, May 21. The “Athletic News” discussing the selection of a wicket keeper for England’s Australian tour says, he must be picked solely for wieket-keeping, and suggests the Lancastrian, Duckworth, than whom there is not two, if any better keepers in English cricket to-day.
