Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire were playing in the minor counties championship. The former made 121 and 238. and the latter 273 and 86 for seven wickets. Alaryle-'one rules that the match was a tie under the laws ol cricket, but Bucks gained an advantage in points 'through leading on the first innings. The ALirylelwme Club considers that such events arc so rare,that, it is not prepared to alter Law 2, because tests and other matches would he affected.
