The Civic Royal Commission after the completion of the Maling inquiiy will open an inquiry into coal and timber contracts during the Labour regime, giving particular attention to the manner in which £15,000 was allegedly remitted in Sydney by the International Combustion Coy., which will involve the conduct of certain former Aldermen.
