In the meantime Carol with no attempt at secrecy, entered another car and sped towards Dover. Six other cars then dashed from London to Dover just in time to see Carol surrounded by English detectives and Homo Office officials, walk on to_tlie j boat. Carol expressing obvious annoyance, swiftly descended to his private cabin.

CAROL’S PARTING SHOT. LONDON, May 17. Prince Carol, was evidently in all angry mood, as lie boarded the steamer. He refused to speak to anyone but bis Secretary. The Prince called out: “May we never see England again!” BRUSSELS. May 17. Prince Carol lias arrived bore in a motor car from Ostend. He is staying at the Palace Hotel.
