FOOTBALL.

TO-AIORROAV’S GAAI.ES. SENIOR. Kiwi v. Stars, Cass Square, at 3 p.m. (Air AA r . Kearns). JUNIORS. A rah ura v. Ross, at Ross, at 3 p.m., (AH R. Cherrie). Excelsiors v. Rimu, at Riinu, at. 3 p.m. (Mr AVillougliby). Kiwis v. Kokatalii, at Hokitika, at 3 p.m. (Mr D. Williamson).

The senior game set down for Cass Square between Kiwis and Stars should result in a good game, but Kiwis will have to show better football than they did last Saturday, if they expect to come off the field victorious. The Star team is reported to be showing improving form each week, so that an interesting exhibition should result. The junior game Kiwis v. Kokatalii should also prove a close one. If the country team can produce the same form as last week they should about score another victory.

Arahura play Ross at Ross and the home team should have no difficulty in securing the game. At Rimu Excelsiors play Rimu and tho game should be closely contested.
