WESTLAND AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION

MONDAY, MAY Midi

A meeting of the Association was held at 7 p.m. Present: Messrs B. P. Stuart (President), J. Turner, Garnet Perry, E. Orr, E. J. Appleton and Dr Teiclielmann.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read, and it was decided to amend same and confirm at the next meeting. inward correspondence.

From Secretary, Arahura Road School Committee,, asking the Association to erect danger signs near tho School. It was resolved to supply same. From Education Board, forwarding letter from Chairman. Evans CreekSchool Committee, applying for danger sign for school. It was resolved to forward signs a- soon as they can he made up. . . From Grey Automobile Association asking this Branch to take up "dtli the County Council and the Highways Board the advisability of taking off the biul corners round about AVaimea and Stafford, as there is at present no. visibility of cars going either way. Tt was resolved to place this matter before the authorities. Several matters relating to the working of the local Branch were discussed, an ‘d Dr Teiclielmann agreed to diseu-n same with the Secretary of the Canterbury Automobile Association when in Christchurch. The meeting concluded at 8 p.m.
