James Wright Fynes, 58, formerly
cafe proprietor. two charges of lire aches of the Bankruptcy Act, to-six months’ gaol. '1 he police report said r-hc prisoner had sponged on women, defrauding them. Norman Clark, house-breaking and theft, reformative treatment lor two tears.
James William Fnlkingham. receiving property dishonestly obtained, two charges, to three years} hard. Alfred Norman O’Aleara, theft from the person, six months’ gaol. Charles Edward Blneklock, theft, to probation for three years and to make restitution.
John William Ale-Lure, burglaries in 1919, probation, as he had been lately in gaol on other charges. In sentencing Fnlkingham to three years’ gaol, Judge Adams said the prisoner while keeping in 1 tie background had joined two well-known criminals and not merely as a “ fence ” for them, hut as a provocateur. His Honour took a serious view of the case.
