A DENIAL... f SYDNEY, ALiy 10. Air Coleman, U.P., repudiates Mr Ginn’s statement, associating him with an offer of monetary consideration to provide a sate Federal seat for Air Theodore. Air Coleman declares, Air Gum i.s untruthful and states that he suspects that he (Ginn) tends to oppose him (Coleman) at the next Federal election.

The dislocation in shipping between Australia and New Zealand, due to tho cooks’ strike, was responsible . for an incident unique in the history of Grafton, North Coast, yesterday, when eighteen hags of mails from New Zealand for Australian States were landed there, the mails being dispatched from New Zealand to Australia by any available vessel. The Poolta. which makes periodical trips, brought this consignment, dated, Auckland, Alay 2nd. which will be distributed to-day.
WOMAN POISONED. SYDNEY, May 10. A married woman at Parkes, Airs Cross, died as a result of poisoning. A doctor informed the police that while he was mixing a tonic* for her, lie had inadvertently used an overdose of strychnine in mistake for quinine, which has similar powers. The police are holding an inquiry.
