The Committee met last evening at 8 p.m. Present: Messrs 11. .Al. foulson (President). Ciitlmsh. Moore, Williams. Breeze. .Staiford, McDonald, McMn min way. McGregor and lloonan. The minutes were coiilinned and correspondence outward approved. The Chairman welcomed Messrs AA . Kearns. R. Dowell. A. Sumner and Heeiiaii (Referees' Assn.) and matters affecting refereeing were discussed at some length. A vote of thanks was then passed for their attendance with the hope that the membership would be extended.
The .Excelsior Club and Ross Club wrote enclosing fees.--Received. Tlie application of AA . Herring Irom A rail ura to Excelsior was granted. The Hokitika. Borough Council wrote use of Cass Square for Juno 4 th.
An application by I-. Grouisky for reinstatement to Rugby was recommended.
From AA'- Willoughby (referee at Rimu) .submitting report and .statement of ordering off of a Ross player (B. Adams). —Received. The player appeared before tho Committee, denying had language, hut stating lie had questioned the ruling of the reforeo anil he admitted he was wrong. After discussion it was lesolvcd to give tho player a severe -caution as lo his future behaviour.
Referee Sumner’s report r.n the Ara-luira-Exeelsior match was received. It was received that all players taking the field must be attired in the Club colours.

Kokatahi v. Excelsiors at llokiri a at 3 p.m. (Air Ai. AYallaee). Kiwis v. Ross at Ross at 3 p.m.TMr X. Scott A. 3rd. GRADE. Excelsior v. Arahura at Arahura at 1.30 p.m. (Air 1. Tniiiui). It was resolved to recommend Mr A. Perry as referee for the senior game at Hokitika. Messrs IT. Af. Coni.son and D. Dowell were appointed as Referees Appointment Board.
Messrs McManiiaway, Cuthush and Secretary were appointed a Fixtures Committee.
The Treasurer’s report was rend and received. The President, Secretary and Treasurer were nut-’:prised to sign ehc pies.
A number of minor matters were discussed and action authorised before the meeting terminated.
