A Government Bill to repeal the amendments to the Immigration Act, adopted in 1919, alter the Winnipeg strike aroused keen Conservative opposition in the Commons. A message from Coburg states alter a fortnight’s trial, the jury returned a L verdict for plaintiff in General Currie’s fifty thousand dollars libel suit, awarding 500 dollars damages. It is understood the jury was for several hours divided, eleven for plaintiff and one for defendants. In ISGO King Edward danced in tho Courthouse where the trial was held when visiting Canada as Prince of Wales.
