The morning round settled the issue, Coihpston adding tour holes to bis over-night lead, thus landing the round Dormy eighteen. A half in the first hole in the afternoon ended the contest which A hi' -Mitchell described as the greatest event in British golf history. Compston to-day continued his superlative golf. Hagen was able onlv to win a single hole.
