Miss Norma Wilson, leaving to-day to represent New Zealand at Olympia was accorded a great send-off. She has been the guest of honour at numerous functions for the past week, including a civic farewell and several entertainments by Maoris. Lady Carroll presented her with a valuable mat and another mat. was given by tribes of Poverty Bay and Hawke’s Bay. She also carries a greenstone tiki for good luck. The citizens presented her with a travelling outfit.
BODY FOUND. TIMA RU. April 21
The body of a well-dressed mail of forty-five years was found floating in the harbour this morning. It had apparently been in the water tor some months, with the result that the features were uiirecognisablo. The hands were tied together with ropeyarn. and attached to the body were two pieces of iron bar. There were tie marks on the body or anything to lead to Identification. The police theory is that it is a ease of suicide, with no suspicious circumstances.

Association decided to accept the proposal ot the Royal Agricultural Society to hold a separate Royal Show here on .Inuunry 3(lth and 31st. During a discussion on the matter wherein it was decided to help the Koval Society to the fullest extent, the opinion was expressed that the latter was doing a had day’s work' and it would he the death-knell of the Koval Show.
