M. Houston Co., notify a sale by auction in the Mart on Thursday next at 2.20 p.tn. of a. ((imntity of household furniture and elfects. Poppies are still on sale and may he procured at Mr R. Paterson’s. Retell Street. The sale on Saturday in town totalled about L'JO. Poppies have also 1 sent through the district. Il is expelled there "ill he a larger sale ill Hokitika to-day and to-morrow. The proceeds from the sale are to he devilled lo assisting returned men who are unemployed.
