AMUSEMENTS.

EVERYBODYS PICTURES.

OK CHIOS AND ERMINE” —TO-NIGHT.

Colleen Moore always knew she would lie a motion picture star. It wasn’t egotism or conceit. She just knew, from the time she saw her first motion picture, that some day she herself wotdd he an actress and, she promised herself, a successful one. She kept a scrapbook with pictures of all the stars cut out from magazines and newspapers —hut one page was blank! That one she reserved for herself when her picture would appear in magazines and her name blaze forth over theatre entrances. Since then she has achieved stardom, hut she has never yet fdled in the blank page of the scrapbook. That is waiting for the day when she will have iVached what she considers her goal. But the goal advances before her and according to those who know her, it is not likely that she will ever be completely satisfied with her work. So the blank page in the scrapbook is likely to remain blank. M.iss Moore’s newest starring picture under her long term contract with First National, is “ Orchids and Ermine,” which John McCormick produced. It comes to the Princess Theatre to-night. The supporting cast is headed by Jack Mulliall and the other players include Sam Hardy, Gwen Lee, Alma Bennett, ITedda Hopper, Kate Price, Jed Proutv, Emily Fitzroy, Caroline Snowden, Yola d’Avril and Brooks Benedict. The usual supports will also bo presented, including a topical, scenic and comedy.
