AMUSEMENTS.
EVERYBODYS PICTURES. “THE -MAN FROM It ED GULCH ”, -TO-NIGHT. Higfdy dramatic scenes of Harry Carey's new star picture, “The Man From Red Gulcli," were filmed in a Kernville, California, cabin, in which occurred the murder of four members of one family in 1921. in the little shack where "Newt” Walker and three relatives were shot down in a feud over mining claims, the cameras clicked on Carey and Frank Campeau in a real feud between the partners made famous by It ret llarte in “The Idyl of Red Gulch." The only remaining Walker in the mining town was an interested though reticent watcher of the picture people’s “play actin’.” He went about constantly on guard, with a revolver and ammunition always within reach. Thus far no one has been convicted of the murder of the four Walkers. The scene m question deals with Sandy, a miner who is caring for his drunken friend. Fa Honor. The latter is driven to dissipation when Lasliam, a gambler, lures Falloner'x wife away from him and their two children. Fallonor has sworn to kill Lasliam on sight and in his drunken frenzies he often fancies he sees his enemy. Sandy calms him, and when Lasliam finally murders Fallonor. hi' swears vengeance against the slayer of his friend. "The Man From Red Gulch "is dramatic and thrilling. The supporting cast includes such sterling players as Harriet Hammond, Frank Campeau. Mark Hamilton, Lee Sliumway, Doris Lloyd and Frank Xoreross. The parts of two children are portrayed by Mick Moore and Virginia Davis.
