AVONDALE MEETING. (I3y Telegraph—Per Press Association.) ACCKLAND, April 18. The Avondale Jockey Club’s autumn meeting concluded to-day. The weather was fine and the attendance large. The tote handled £40,833, the grand total being £70,659 10s, compared with £29.77(1 when the meeting was held at Kllerslie. Results: — Avondale Hurdles.—<si lvaramu 1, (3) Lady Spalpeen 2, (1) Lady Cintra 3. Three lengths each way.
Dominion Handicap.—to) Luminary 1. (3) The Fox 2, 11) Parfait Armour 3. Won by three-quarters of a length; a neck. Time 1.29 2-5.
Nursery Handicap.— (.6) Te Atinwa 1. (4) White Wings 2, (3) Perception 3. Won by :t length and half; a neck. Time 1.14.
Waitakerei Handicap.—(l) King Mei v 1. (2.) Ti Tree 2. (5) Oration 3. Won by ;t length : two lengths. Time 1.27 2-5.
Autumn Handicap.—(3) In The Shade 1. (l) Valkon 2, < Hipo 3. Won by a neck: half a length. Time 1.38. Mt. Kden Handicap.—(2) Royal Tea 1, S) Lady’s Roy 2. (1) Flying Juliet and •:4". Kingfield a deatl beat for third. Won by half a length ; a neck. Time 1.13 2-5.
Mt. Roskill Handicap.—(2) Micrometer 1. (7) Restaurant 2, (10) Arch Queen 3. Won by a neck : three-quar-ters of a length. Time 1.40 3-5.
Morningside Handicap.—(2) Le C’houeas 1, (7> Archeno 2. (0) Queen Arch 3. Won by a length and a-lialf; half a length. Time 1.40 3-5.
