PROHIBITION ORDER ISSUED CHRISTCHURCH. April 18.

•Magistrate La wry to-day issued a prohibition order against Arthur Hines, a labourer, under unusual circumstances. His wife made an application, •stating that Hines made his own Leer, brewing it in a copper. He was at his worst on Friday night, hut he was continuously drunk. Ho often slept in a shed near the wash-house. He frequently slept in his clothes, and at Christmas time he kept his clothes on unchanged for four or live days.
