An inquiry was held after the last race of the day. taking two hours to decide, and at the conclusion, J. Dombroski. the rider of Quilllire in the last race was cautioned fur not riding Quilliire to advantage in the second lace of the day. The tote handled €7679. as against L‘G79l for the autumn meeting last year an increase ol CSSS.

The autumn meeting of the Mnnnwatu R.C. opened to-day in lino windy weather. The ground was good, but -a trille slow, early. There was a fair attendance. The tote took €21.3-11, against €29,259: an increase of €-1082 compared with last year. Results:—
