addincton stock sales. CHRISTCHURCH. April 19. At Addington stock sales yesterday the following were the ruling prices.—' Fat Cattle.—There was a fair yarding, mostly of good i|utility, and tliciv was a hardening tendency at the latter stages. Best heavy steers fetched £ls 15s to 917 10s, extra good to Cl 9 12 S 6d, prime L'l-1 to Cl 5. medium Cl-’ to €l3 ss, light anil unfinished €7'lss ten €ll ss. Store Cattle. —This was a small yarding of nondescript lots, with no quotable lines forward. Best cows sold to €4 ss. medium €2 15s to C 3 10s, inferior from €2 ss. Best heifers sold to €5 ss, medium €3 10s to CM os.

Fat Sheep.—There was a larger yarding, especially in ewes, and a tit' ll ' market throughout. Prime ewes sold at 30s 6d to 36s Gd, extra to 39s 7d, medium 28s to 30s, lighter 26s 6d prime to 35s 7cl, medium 18s 6d to 2Ls Gd lighter from 14s Gd. iStore Sheep.—-There was a full yarding. The lambs were of mediocre quality. There was a keen demand for the irregular sale. Ewe lambs sold freely. "Best rape lambs fetched 22s to 25s Gd, good 19s to 21s Gel, medium and inferior from Us, best ewes and wethers were up to last week’s rates. Secondary ewes were irregular. The quality generally was only fair.
