UNION COMPANY’S LINE.
The Knimni returns to Grey mouth tonight from Westport to load coal and timber for Miramar and Wellington. The Putiki has left the Greyrnouth roadstead to load at Westport and will not now come on to Greyrnouth. The Pnrera is still lying in the Greymouth roadstead waiting for the sea to moderate before crossing the bar. On arrival she loads coal for Gisborne.
SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. WESTPORT. April 18. Arrived at 9 p.m., Putiki; at 11.45 p.m., Alexander; at 1.55 p.m. Regains, all from the Grey roadstead; 9.30 p.m., Elsie, from southern bays.
