Advice was received at Greynuuith on Tuesday of the death of Mrs . \Y. Ilall. which took place at the residence of her daughter, .Mrs A. Kilgotir, -Mnsterton, alter a month's illness. The deceased lady was SO years of age and came to New Zealand in ISti.'l, arriving at Hokitika in IS’fio. She gave up her home in A lexamler Street. Greymouth. eight years ago, and since then had resided with members of her family in various parts of New Zealand. The resilience of .Mr John Humble. No. I Leonard Street. Greyniom.il, was the scene of a burglary on Tuesday night, when a sum of money was stolen. Detective Murch yesterday afternoon arrested a man on a charge of having committed the burglary, and the prisoner will to-day appear at the Magistrate’s Court. Greymoulh. io answer the charge.
