Mrs Olive Mix. former wife of Tom Mix, thought €3.600 a year essential for the girl, who, she claimed, required £SOO for clothes. £2OO for dancing lessons, and £4OO for sing-j ing and music lessons. Mix. who came to court in cowboy costume, admitted that he earned £1 500 weekly, hut thought that just a little motor ear would suit his daughter. Still, he said, he was willing to do the right thing. The judge said he was unwilling to spoil tiie girl with too much luxury, and withheld judgment.
