HOKITIKA SPORTS
The annual sports meeting of the Hokitika Athletic and Cycling Club will he held on Cass Square to-mor-row afternoon, the first event starting at 1.30 p.m. Nothing has been left undone to ensure the public an enjoyable day's sport. The programme is a varied one, including running, chopping, cycling and whippet racing, so that enthusiasts of the vtnious brunches of sport are well catered for. The Municipal Band will be in attendance and will render a programme, while the various sideshows will help to keep the public amused. Suitable train arrangements have been made so that given a fine day a large crowd will be present. In the evening a presentation o' prizes will take place in the Club ‘Rooms, and immediately aiterwnrds a d nice will be held in the Soldier’s Hall.
