EVERYBODYS PICTURES.

■THE PR A J HIJC ICING”—TO-NIGHT

Tlie Princess Theatre has hooked a picture for to-night that promises to he one of the most amusing and entertaining photoplays put on the screen for many months. The picture is Hoot Gibson's latest Universal-jewel release, “ The Prairie King,” with an excellent' cast m support, including Barbara Worth, a beautiful, petite blonde, who plays the leading feminine role. It has a plausible plot, which is interlined with the well-known brand of Gibsonesqne company. Heaves Eason, veteran movie director, who held the megaphone on this picture, has been recently placed under a long-term contract by Universal to direct Gibson’s future productions. Eason is a real old-timer in the movies. He started in films many years ago as a cowboy actor with Universal, the pioneer producer of two-reel Westerns, and his progress has taken him through practically every sort of job obtainable on a studio lot. He has been, by turns, assistant director, director, producer, writer, and film editor, and has seen the industry grow from an unknown quantity to-'one of the world’s greatest industries. During his professional (areer, Eason has associated with some of

the most famous personages of the film world, including Francis X. Bushman, Ruth Roland, Jackie Coogan, Ramon Novarro, Buck Jones, Fred Thompson, and a host of others who have risen to movie fame. Included in the cast directed by Eason in “ The Prairie King,” are Charles Sellon, Rosa Gore. Al. Briscoe, Sidney Jarvis and George Periolat. The film play was adapted to the screen by Frank Howard Clark from William Wallace Cook’s specially written screen vehicle for Hoot Gibson. There will be no pictures this Friday at the Princess Theatre. Saturday—Gloria Swanson in "The “Love of Sunya.”
