The Masterton Racing Club’s autumn meeting concluded to-day under ideal conditions, with a good attendance. The track was good. The tote handled £11,730, the total for the meeting being £22,906. A one-day meeting was held last year, when £12,189 was handled. Results:—

An inquiry was hold on an allegation of interference by Ivildoor in crossing in front on the run home. The stewards held that the incident was without intent, and dismissed the charge. Won by a head. Time 1.42. The totalisator took £20,315. as against £20,77(1 last year, on the second day of the meeting combined with Waipapakauri. LIMERICK wins. SYDNEY, April 1. Limerick scored another easy win at Warwick Firm meeting yesterday. The weather was fine, hut the going was a hit heavy. Results: —
CHIPPING NORTON STAKES. Limerick 0.1 1 Dominion 8.12 - Rionscup 9.2 3 The other starters were: Tibbie. Glenariff and Jocelyn. It was a slow race in the early stages, .Tocelvn and Doumoon alternately acting as pilots. Limerick was well ridden hv MeCartcn. He waited till the field turned forborne and then he went to the front, winning with the greatest ease by two lengths. Rionscup was one and a-half lengths away, third, lime 2.10.
Limerick developed a distinct soreness after yesterday s gallop. Ihe seat of the trouble is near the forehoof, which is being poulticed under veterinary supervision. Warwick Farm Autumn Cup.—Win-a-Lot 1, Valparaiso 2, Amusement 3. Ten started. Won by three lengths. Time 2.313.

RECORD FALLS
LONDON, March 30. The Grand National resulted:— Tipperary Tim 1. Billy Barton 2. record field of forty-two stai ted hut only two finished. A rank outsider, Tipperary Tim alone did not fall. Billy Barton fell at the last fence but his rider remounted.
