(Australian Press Association A Sun.) AMERICA'S UNEMPLOYED. WASHINGTON, March 21. The Secretary ol Labour, Mr Davis, reported to the Senate that a partial survey ol unemployment by the Department revealed there wore 1.374.0->9 or more persons unemployed than in 1925. Mr Davis declared it would be impossible, without a large expense, to make a full survey, as the Senate’s resolution demanded. STOCK EXCHANGE RECORDS. (Received this day at 10.10 a.m.) NEW YORK. March 20. The Slock Exchange again broke all records with a total sales ol -1.2-18,53.; shares, surpassing the record cabled on March 13th. Speculators sent enormous week-end accumulation ol Inlying order- into the market, whirling the prices of several leaders into new high levels. General Motors again led the procession with more than hall a million .shares, that stock alone changing hands within live hours and selling for the new high level of 203 dollars per share. At the height of the trading, shortly before the close, practically tin* whole market followed in an tip ward trend.
