Tlie New South Wales Rugby football team, better known as the Warat'ahs, arrived in Auckland this morning by the Aorangi, and were the guests of the Auckland Rugby Union at luncheon. Air Shaw, manager of the team, referred to the good tooling that existed between N.S.W. and New Zealand in Rugby circles. Now South Wales had a lot to thank New Zealand for. He was confident the game would become firmly established in Victoria and Queensland during the coming winter. It already had a footing in Victoria, and as there was every probability of Lawton settling in Brisbane, he would make a strong endeavour to re-establish the code in the Queensland capital. The team was taken for a motor run this afternoon. To-morrow morning a civic reception will be held. The team will then attend the test cricket match at Eden Park. The party will leave for home by the Aorangi to-morrow afternoon. T.ONDQN, March 24. In the Ruwbv inter-service championship, the Army beat the Air Force by 18—0 at Twickenham.
