Edward Everett Horton, easily ■ne of the most able light comedians on the screen, has me featured role and gives a thoroughly enjoyable characterisation of the, meek, timid draughtsman who gels the excitement of n lifetime in the space of -18 hours and rises to the occasion beautifully. He seems to understand us—us meaning that great majority of ordinary souls who are not blessed with the qualities which make us stand out above our fellows. He is afraid of his job. afraid of his boss, timid when he meets the girl-hut lie manages to rise to bis opportunities when the time comes. There are few serious moments in the production. Tt drifts along easily and swiftly, through a series of amusing incidents, building all the time to a climax which is both highly amusing and totally unexpected. To reveal the climax—or to reveal any part of the story would be an injustice. Marian Nixon, the popular little actress who has been seen in several charming rules with Reginald Denny, plays the feminine lead opposite Horton. Burr .Mclntosh. Edward Afartindel. William V. Along.
