LATE LOCALS.
This morning there was a hglit shower early and it then cleared again, but at 2 o’clock this afternoon a steady rain began to fall, and there is e ' el ' prospect of it continuing. Rain be very welcome all over the district, which has had an unusually fine spell over several weeks.
