VAN DRIVER COMMITTED. MASTERTON. March 21. Louis Stanely Tremayne, driver of ♦he motor van concerned in the collision on February 18th. with a motor lorrv driven hv Kenneth Alpin, which took place in Queen Street Masterton was charged to-day in the Masterton Magistrate's Court before Mr Free S.M.. with having on February ISth negligently driven a motor van. thereby causing the death of Frank Clifford Shakleton. _ _ j Shnkleton was a passenger in Alpin’s lorrv proceeding to work at the freezing'works. He was thrown on to the road and died from injuries. Accused, ho pleaded not guilty was committed to the Supreme Court at Wellington for trial. Rail was allowed.
