RUN OVER BY LORRY.
A business mail is now lamenting his precipitate haste in crossing the street before looking to see whether tlie way was clear. So intent was he on tilling his pipe that lie was brushed aside h.v a passing lorry and, to his dismay, he dropped liis tobacco, which was irretrievably crushed by the hack wheels. The lorry driver at first was inclined to lie abusive, but when ho learnt that it was a packet of Bears’ Tobacco that had been lost he was very sympathetic, for, being a Bears’ smoker, lie knew what a delicious Virginian blend it is. Have you tried it? 8d an ox. loose; also in handy packets, ]oz. 9(1., 2qz. Is Gd.
